Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Woli Arole has slammed leaders of university fellowships for collecting foodstuffs from students as their first fruit.
Arole, in a post on his Instagram story, slammed the fellowship leaders for referring to themselves as “papa and mama” and described the behaviour as “nonsense”.
“I heard they are already calling you ‘papa and mama’ in the university because you are fellowship leaders and you are telling students to bring their foodstuffs as ‘FIRST FRUIT’. What nonsense.”
Arole is one of the comedians who worked to portray Christianity in a positive way.
