Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has broken her silence on her health after speculation making the rounds that she is battling an illness.
Her colleague Angela Okorie further fueled the speculation on Tuesday when she stated that she is not feeling good.
In a video shared on her Instagram account, she noted that Okojie is going through an illness she cannot wish on her enemy.
“I got some news recently that Mercy Johnson is not feeling well, and I honestly feel for her,” she said, according to Pulse Nigeria. “The sickness I was told, is something I cannot wish on my enemy.”
Okorie said she and Okojie had a bitter past but she’s forgiven her.
However, her message quickly turned confrontational when she urged the actress to “go and apologise to the people she has offended” and also claimed Okojie, at a point, went spiritual because of her.
“Tell her I said so. Apologising to people you have wronged is better than using church words that you don’t represent,” she added. “Mercy did a whole lot of things in the industry, and today I am forgiving her. I am forgiving her because of God. If we’re gonna go down memory lane, she went spiritual for me.”
Okorie’s remarks attracted blacklash from many, including her colleague Regina Daniels who described her as being mad.
Reacting to the drama, Okojie took to her Instagram account to clear the her.
She noted that she would share her own side of the story at 12pm on Wednesday.
“Oti to ge (it’s enough),” she wrote. ‘It is time to say my (side of the) piecr. Everything I need to say, I will say it at 12pm on Instagram.”
