A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from the populal Cocoa House 26-storey building in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
According to reports, the yet-to-be-identified man fell from one of the floors of the building in the early of Monday.
Briefly.ng cannot arcertain what led to the incident at the time of this report, but Mr Victor Ayetoro, the company’s Head of Branding and Communication, promised to provide more details as investigation unfold.
The Odu’a Investment Company Limited, the firm managing the company said on Tuesday in a statement that the emergency response team swiftly attended to the man and rushed him to the Ibadan University College Hospital for treatment.
“The company expressed deep concerns over the development and assured the public of its full cooperation with authorities investigating the cause of the fall,” the statement reads as reported by the Punch Newspaper.
The news outlet also quoted an eyewitness who claimed the man crashed on the “roof beside the security post” before landing on the ground.
