England international Jadin Sancho will return to Manchester United after his season-long loan spell at Chelsea with the Blues refusing the obligation to sign the winger on a permanent basis.
According to Sky Sports, the Blues were expected to pay United £25 million to permanently hire the services of Sancho, but instead will pay just £5m to get of the obligation.
Sancho, 25, who scored five goals during his perioed at Stamford Bridge, will return to Old Trafford at the end on June after failing to reach personal terms to extend his stay at the club.
The winger contributed positively to Chelsea during his stay, scoring five goals, including in the final of last months Europa Conference League against Real Betis.
He also provided 10 assists across all competitions.
Reports have suggested that the Red Devils are poised to receive offers for the winger.
Briefly.ng learnt that clubs from the Premier League and across Europe have already approched his representatives to understand the condition of a possible deal.
The Mirror also suggested that the player could return to Germany with Bayer Leverkusen being touted as his destination following the appointment of former United coach Erik ten Hag.
Sancho joined United from German side Borussia Dortmund while Ole Gunner Solskjaer was the club head coach in the summer of 2021 for a deal worth £85 million.
He won both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup at the club.
