Bayer Leverkusen have rejected Liverpool FC’s club record transfer bid of €130m (€110m) for Gernman midfielder Florian Wirtz.
According to Sky Deutschland, the Premier League champions presented two different offers to Leverkusen. But the German side wants different package other than the one being offered by the club.
“Offer for Florian Wirtz was not accepted in its current form, which is why, as reported, there was still no agreement a few days ago.
“Negotiations are ongoing. Both teams want a quick agreement, Leverkusen have a different overall package in mind than the one currently being offered by Liverpool.”

Wirtz, 22, has attracted interest not only from the Reds but also from Bayern Munich with reports suggesting that the playmaker is favouring a summer move to Anfield over Allanz Arena.
Liverpool are working on rebuilding their squad after losing zengland international Trent Alexander-Arnold to La Liga giant Real Madrid.
The Reds have added Jeremie Frimpong to the squad but are keen to sign more players ahead of next season.
