President Donald Trump on Saturday said the United States military stuck three nuclear sites in Iran.
Trump made this known in a post on his social media account, noting that a “full payload of bombs” was dropped on Iran’s primary nuclear site, Fordow.
This comes a week after Israel attacked the country and assassinated top military, political officers and scientists.
In retaliation, Iran launched several waves of missiles at the country, causing massive destruction and death.
Trump did not mentioned the bomb being used, but the American stealth bombers and a 30,000-lb. bunker buster bomb have been touted to be used to strike the Iranian highly fortified underground sites.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump wrpte.
“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”
This could escalate the war in the Middle East as Iran has pledged to retaliate against the US if it joins the Israeli unprovoked attack.
