Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo on Tuesday confirmed that she and her husband Oluwaseyi Akinrinde have separated.
Adebayo, who made the confirmation in an Instagram post, noted that they’ve been separated since April 2024 and are both focused on peacefully co-parenting their son.
“Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy,” she wrote on Instagram.
“We’ve both separated since April last year but we have decided to maturely and peacefully co-parent our dear son. He means everything to us.”
The actress also apologised to her followers who may have felt disappointed inhier.
She stated that she wished her married had worked out and added that while she strives to make other people happy, her “pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months”.
Biola said she derived her strength from Jesus and urged her followers to be kind to other people, Stating that “you have no idea what others are going through until they say it”.
In 2023, Adebayo had revealed during an episode of her podcast “Talk to B” that she and her husband dated for less than six month (The Punch Newspaper).
They got married in April 2021, and in April 2023, the coupled welcomed a baby boy through a surrogate mother.
